About this place
Ichon Hangang Park stretches 10.2 km and some 920,000 square metres along the northern bank of the Han River in Yongsan-gu, running from Jungnangcheon Bridge in Geumho-dong to Wonhyo Bridge. The park is well equipped for recreation, with an international-standard inline skating rink of over 14,000 square metres, football, basketball and tennis courts, a gateball court, an X-games ground, a youth plaza, and a water-sports facility offering wakeboarding and water skiing. Reeds, silver grass and cosmos come and go with the seasons along the embankment's walking and jogging route, and a cycle path runs the full length of the park with rental bikes available on site. Nodeulseom Island, beneath Hangang Bridge, is a cultural venue with performance spaces, a bookshop, a lawn and cafes, and pairs naturally with a riverside walk.
