About this place

LG Arts Center Seoul opened in October 2022 in the Magok district of Gangseo-gu, in a building designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The structure shows Ando's minimalist style, built with exposed concrete and natural light. The center contains two performance venues: the 1,355-seat LG SIGNATURE Hall and the flexible 365-seat U+ Stage, presenting performances in classical music, theater, dance, and jazz. Situated adjacent to the Seoul Botanic Park and directly connected to Magok-naru Station (Line 9 and Airport Railroad), it is easily combined with a visit to the neighboring garden. As a non-profit venue, it operates under the mission of returning corporate profits to society through the arts.
