About this place

Olympic Park in Songpa-gu was established to commemorate the 1988 Seoul Olympics and spans approximately 1.45 million square meters, preserving the Baekje-era earthen fortification Mongchontoseong and its surrounding moat. The lone zelkova tree and the rose garden are well-known photo spots, and the vast lawns welcome picnickers in every season. The park is organized into leisure, sports, cultural, and eco zones.
