About this place

Riverside Library is a book and bakery café opened in September 2023 on the second floor of a building adjacent to the National Assembly's Sarangjae pavilion in Yeouido. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views of the Han River and Seogang Bridge, while bookshelves stocked with titles curated by National Assembly librarians line the walls. A rooftop terrace extends the views outdoors, and in spring the cherry blossoms along Yunjung-ro can be seen with the river. Pastries are baked on-site every morning and served with drinks.

Mon-Fri 08:30-19:00, Saturday 11:00-19:00. Closed every Sunday, and also on public holidays, Workers' Day (1 May) and the anniversary of the National Assembly's opening (31 May). Because it sits inside the National Assembly grounds, visitors must follow the Assembly's entry procedure, and stays are limited to two hours.
