About this place
Seonjeongneung Royal Tombs is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of Gangnam, comprising the tombs of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon (Seolleung) and King Jungjong (Jeongneung) of the Joseon dynasty. These royal tombs, nestled within dense pine forests, offer a remarkable contrast to the surrounding skyscrapers of Teheran-ro and COEX. The pine-shaded grounds are a place to walk and rest away from the traffic. The site is about 440 m from Exit 10 of Seolleung Station on Subway Line 2 and the Suin-Bundang Line.
