About this place

Seoul Children's Grand Park is a 536,000㎡ urban family park that opened on Children's Day, May 5, 1973. It combines a zoo with over 3,500 animals across 100 species, a botanical garden featuring 347 plant varieties, and an amusement area with rides including a Ferris wheel and carousel. Over 62% of the grounds are covered by trees and lawns, with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage in autumn. Following a full renovation and grand reopening in 2009, the park added an outdoor concert venue and a music fountain, becoming a place for culture and rest as well.
