About this place

Garosu-gil is a ginkgo tree-lined street in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, within walking distance of Sinsa Station on Subway Line 3. The area began attracting art galleries in the 1980s, earning the nickname "artists' street," before fashion designers moved in and turned it into a "designers' street." Today it is lined with luxury boutiques, independent brand shops, cafes and restaurants, and in autumn its ginkgo trees turn gold. Korea's first Apple Store, Apple Garosugil, opened here in 2018.
