About this place
Seokchon Lake is an urban lake park in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, formed by damming a former branch of the Han River. The lake is divided into East Lake and West Lake by Songpa-daero Boulevard, covering a combined 217,850 square meters. A 2.6-kilometer walking and jogging path encircles the water. Every spring the cherry trees around the lake bloom all at once, and nearby Lotte World Tower and Songni-dan Street make good companions to a visit.
