About this place

Songnidan-gil is an alley south of Seokchon Lake's eastern basin in Songpa-gu, its name playfully combining "Songpa-dong" with the famous Gyeongnidan-gil street in Itaewon. Once an unremarkable residential and commercial strip, it became the street it is today as independent cafés and restaurants moved in one by one. Restaurants serving Korean, Japanese and Western food sit alongside dessert cafés. After dark, the illuminated silhouette of Lotte World Tower frames the alleyways, and it pairs easily with a walk around Seokchon Lake and Lotte World Tower.
