Apgujeong Rodeo Street emerged in the early 1990s as the centre of Korean fashion, earning the nickname "number one street of trends." The L-shaped street runs from the Hanyang Apartment intersection opposite Galleria Department Store to the Hakdong intersection, lined with flagship stores of local and international brands alongside independent designer boutiques. In recent years Korean brand flagships like GENTLE MONSTER and bakery cafes have opened here, with restaurants and cafes throughout.
